The Forgotten Truth of the Self-Healing Body

A TWO-BOOK NATURAL BODY INTELLIGENCE SERIES BY STEVE GRAHAM

The Forgotten Truth of the Self-Healing Body

Understand the principles. Then see how they apply to individual conditions.

The Forgotten Truth of the Self-Healing Body is a two-book series exploring the Natural Hygiene view of health, symptoms and the body’s capacity for self-regulation. The first book lays out the core principles. The second takes those ideas into practical territory, looking at individual conditions through the same framework.

Two books. One connected journey.

You can read either book independently, but they are designed to work together. Book One gives you the foundation: the ideas, principles and language needed to understand the Natural Hygiene approach. Book Two then uses that foundation to explore what may be happening when particular symptoms and conditions appear.

Book One: Core Principles

Discover How Your Body Naturally Restores Health When You Remove What’s Blocking It

Book One introduces the core Natural Hygiene principles behind the series. It explores the body’s natural processes, why symptoms can be understood as meaningful responses rather than isolated problems, and how food, rest, fasting, sleep, stress, movement and the wider living environment can affect health.

It is the place to start if you are new to Natural Hygiene or want a clearer framework for understanding the ideas behind Natural Body Intelligence.

  • Understand the principles behind Natural Hygiene
  • Explore the relationship between lifestyle, energy and health
  • Learn the Natural Hygiene concepts of enervation, toxaemia and vital economy
  • Look at symptoms through a whole-body framework
  • Build a foundation for understanding Book Two

Book Two: Conditions and Their Resolution

A Practical Guide to Understanding 191 Conditions and How the Body Moves Back Toward Health

Book Two takes the principles from the first book and applies them to individual health conditions. Rather than treating a diagnostic label as the whole story, it encourages you to look at the body, lifestyle and circumstances as a connected picture.

With 191 conditions covered, it is designed as a practical reference you can return to when you want to explore a particular condition through the Natural Hygiene framework.

  • Explore 191 individual conditions
  • Understand each condition within a wider whole-body context
  • Connect symptoms with the principles introduced in Book One
  • Identify lifestyle factors worth examining
  • Use the book as an ongoing reference alongside the core principles

Which book should I read first?

If the Natural Hygiene approach is new to you, start with Book One: Core Principles. It gives you the framework that makes the second book easier to understand. If you already understand the core principles and mainly want a reference for particular conditions, you can go directly to Book Two.

About the series

Steve Graham created Natural Body Intelligence to make Natural Hygiene ideas understandable and practical for everyday life. This series brings those ideas together in book form: first the principles, then their application to the conditions people encounter in real life.

The books present a Natural Hygiene perspective for education and are not a substitute for diagnosis, emergency care or necessary medical treatment.
